The BIL Birthday Teams takes place on Monday August 30 starting at 6pm UK, 1pm EDT. Eight teams will play a straight knockout event with 6-board quarter-finals, 8-board semi-final and 10-board final.
All teams are now full, but message paulg on BBO if you wish to be on the subs list. Everyone is welcome to kibitz as the matches will be in the Team Matches area.
This tournament is taking place following the Athens Olympics, so it seems appropriate to name the teams after The Olympians, the group of 12 gods named after their dwelling place, Mount Olympus.
